Emergency Assistance Programs

 
  • Mass Food Feeding: Delicious, nutritionally-balanced meals are provided all year to low-income and homeless residents in our community.

 

  • Emergency Shelter: Bethel Community Facility assists in providing short-term alternative living arrangements for families/individuals who lack adequate shelter. This program offers displaced families/individuals a safe-haven until re-entry into the home can be accomplished or another plan established.

 

  • Financial Assistance: Financial aid is available for individuals/families who find themselves in emergency situations. This program has helped mothers buy diapers for their children; provide bus fare for individuals who need to get to work; as well as help meet many other legitimate needs.

 

  • Clothing: Clothing and accessories for individuals or families in need. The clothing donations are solicited from various sources and benefit homeless population as well as provide suitable clothing and accessories for a job interview.

 

  • Holiday Giving: All the trimmings for a complete Thanksgiving and Christmas meal, including a large turkey, are given annually to over 400 low-income families in our target communities. Additionally, Christmas gifts are provided to children in our area as part of our Secret Santa Program.
